How to Determine the Sex of a Two-Month-Old Golden Retriever

Identifying the sex of a two-month-old Golden Retriever can be done by observing their belly and genital area.

For puppies that are a little over one month old, sex determination can be achieved by examining their genitals, belly nipples, and the distance between the anus and the genitals. Male puppies typically have a cleaner belly with more fur, and the penis is located between their hind legs. Female puppies, on the other hand, have very small nipples on their belly and less fur in the same area, with a relatively flat genital area.

For two-month-old puppies, the primary focus for sex determination shifts to observing the belly. By carefully examining the belly, you can identify a female puppy if the belly appears smooth with evenly distributed nipples, especially if there is a triangular genital area located behind the anus. Conversely, a male puppy will likely have a belly with a rougher texture, with nipples that are irregularly distributed, and the penis located in the middle of their belly. You might also like:Pet Breeding
