Determining the sex of a Samoyed puppy can be done by observing their genitals, abdomen, and urination posture.
It's quite straightforward to identify the sex of a Samoyed puppy. Simply check whether their genitals are located on their abdomen or close to their rear.
If the genitals are on the abdomen, it's a male. If they are located close to the rear, it's a female. Keep in mind that puppies, regardless of sex, usually squat to urinate. Male dogs typically start lifting their leg to urinate around five to six months of age. This makes initial sexing easier.
When distinguishing between male and female puppies, examine the area between their hind legs. Male puppies will have a visible penis, and their abdomen will appear relatively clean, often covered by fur. Female puppies, on the other hand, have a flatter genital area, and their abdomen will often have a few small spots. These spots are actually the future development sites of the dog's mammary glands.Explore more:Pet Knowledge
