English Bulldog vs. American Bully: Which is the Better Family Pet?

English Bulldogs tend to have more pronounced jowls than American Bullies, and their musculature is less defined, often appearing slightly plump. Furthermore, English Bulldogs are generally more affordable than American Bullies. This makes them, in many ways, a better fit for family life.

While both the American Bully and the English Bulldog share a similar build and some head features, the English Bulldog has more prominent jowls and less defined muscles. While their body shapes are somewhat alike, the American Bully exhibits a more muscular physique, with the English Bulldog having a somewhat rounder appearance. Regarding coat colors, English Bulldogs often sport yellowish-white patches, whereas American Bullies tend to be black or grey.

In terms of price, American Bullies generally command a higher price tag. Of course, exceptional specimens of French and English Bulldogs can also fetch very high prices, with some top-tier French Bulldogs exhibiting at pet shows reaching prices of over 3 million in China! This is far beyond the reach of the average person. Overall, American Bullies tend to have a higher price point, with decent-looking specimens rarely available for under ten thousand. Many of the "American Bullies" sold for a few thousand domestically are often simply crossbreeds or imitations and generally resemble ordinary bulldogs. Careful inspection is always advised to avoid misrepresentation and ensure you're getting a healthy, quality breed, be it a English Bulldog or an American Bully. You might also like:Pet Breeding
